What Sopho Wore

Last week, after a week full of sunshine and much needed warm weather, it was finally time to swap some of my wardrobe items over, unpack all of my summery items from their vacuum bag and try and make the most of the tiny taste of summer that we had before it inevitably disappeared again without a trace! I have never been happier to see the sunshine, I think that we can all agree that life is much happier with a big old dose of Vitamin D.

(Dress-Jack Wills, Bag-Vintage, Sandals-New Look)
This dress is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. I bought it from Jack Wills (I know, surprise, surprise...) last summer for an interview. It's the perfect summer dress, not too short, perfect neckline and white brodarie anglais fabric which just screams summer to me. It's one of those items that can be dressed up with some wedges or down with a pair of sandals and the white is ideal for showing off a tan (bottled or otherwise)... just don't wear it to BBQ's where there could be ketchup... it's a recipe for disaster!

(Sunglasses- Ray Ban, Watch- Michael Kors)

I like to think that this dress kind of speaks for itself so I just teamed with some simple very loved tan leather accessories. Theres something quite lovely about a pair of sandals that you've had for literally years. They've been everywhere with me from Madeira to the Bornean rainforest and beyond and they're still amazing. I actually have two pairs because I loved them too much when I first bought them that I couldn't bear to not have them in my wardrobe! You have to love items that have that effect on you.

I hope that you all had a lovely time making the most of the beautiful weather! I'm going to be stuck inside finishing off my last two uni assignments for the next week so just a heads up if things go a bit quiet on the old blogging front... only two more essays and a 20,000 word dissertation to go and then i'm done! Officially getting my game face on!
