Easter morning beach trip...

Hi lovelies!
I hope you all had the loveliest Easter weekends! After an obscene amount of chocolate consumption (Dan not me!) over the weekend, on Easter Sunday morning we decided to go for a bit of a wander on Wembury beach not too far from where I live to (as my dad says) blow the cobwebs away. It wasn't exactly the sunniest of days...no surprises there... And with the tide being in we couldn't really wander all that far, but it's still, in my humble opinion, one of the prettiest beaches in South Devon. I remember going here with my primary school on rock pooling trips when I was younger so its got a lot of happy memories, its also I hear a pretty good beach for surfing (although believe me, I am no expert in that field...). I'd definitely recommend taking a little trip here if you're in the area. Anyway, after a few quick photos (it was pretty chilly!) we hopped back in the car and drove to a cafe that's a bit of a local hotspot, for some tea and pastry based treats to warm up and ready ourselves for my dads mammoth glazed ham roast that evening. It was really lovely and although not the perfect weather or indeed the perfect time to go with the tide being in, it made me realise, as usual, just how lucky I am to live where I do, it's pretty amazing!

I hope you're all having a good week so far!
