Sophos Most Wanted: Week #6

Hi Everyone!
First of all, I know it's not technically week 6 of this, but being the forgetful being that I am I totally forgot to do one last week but shhh... we'll just pretend! I'm making up for it in goodies this week however!

1. This lip scrub from Lush intrigues me if nothing else, I as i'm sure everyone else does, suffer from super dry lips in the winter, it's horrible! Your lipstick never goes on nicely and it seems as if no matter how much Carmex you slather on your lips it never quite does the trick... however, after reading about this in a few places over the last week or so, i'm quite tempted to give it a go. I've never really liked the idea of scrubbing my lips, I can't imagine it would feel too pleasant, but hey, needs must...if it makes my lipstick look nice again then I will most certainly give it a go...and plus, it apparently tastes like buttered popcorn, so really, it's win-win!

2. Now, this isn't so much a weekly want as something that i've wanted for way over a year! A OnePiece jumpsuit... now fear not, I would not rock up to lectures in one of these, or roam the streets wearing one (as I saw some very classy people doing the other day) but they're SO comfy! I don't even know how to express how much I want one, I just do...it's like your comfiest sweatpants but like your whole body... amazing.  The only thing that has put me off thus far is the massively hefty price tag...it is after all just a onesie and £140 is insane for something that i'll effectively just wear when i'm feeling in need of a comfy ensemble but still I lie in wait for a miraculous sale or something... I just need to get my hands on one, theres no two ways about it....

3. This is another thing that i've seen floating about EVERYWHERE this week, it seems like the 'It' product among bloggers and everyone seems to be trying to get their mitts on one. The No7 Cleansing Brush looks to be a much more affordable version of the much coveted Clarisonic cleansing brush. You basically pop your foamy cleanser on and scrub it around using the spinny brush thing and voila... super clean skin! I know a lot of people absolutely swear by the Clarisonic but it does seem like an excessive amount of money to spend on something that you're not entirely sure will definitely work for you, so this No7 one at an absolute snip of the price (£24.95 at the moment!) seems almost too good to be true. As i'm sure you've all gathered, I do love to try out new skincare and having become far more concerned with a regular skincare routine and seeing a huge improvement with my skin I think this snazzy little gadget may have to be my new best friend!

4. Finally, this is a bit of a repeat purchase, but i've nearly run out of my Foamingly Clean cleanser/face wash from Benefit, it's fab, I still absolutely love it and if I do end up getting the No7 brush I think it could be the perfect accompanying product!

So, those are my most lusted after items this week, has anything caught your eye?

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

  1. If it tastes like popcorn then it's definitely a winner, but I think I'd be tempted to just eat the whole pot - must refrain! xxx

  2. I really want to get a face cleanser, they look like they work wonders.
You should get a scrub from Lush, I've got one called 'Sweet Lips' it works wonders and taste like chocolate and sugar, so yummy.

    1. It's such a good idea isn't it! I just don't understand how the Clarisonic can be worth spending that much more money on, it must be some kind of miracle product... I shall get my mitts on one asap and do a little review! xx

  8. i have to say i'm a massive fan of Lush products - but I really don't like 'lip scrub' - i'm not very good at using it and it doesn't feel nice, although i'm sure this one tastes brilliant haha! I've heard exfoliating with an old toothrbush works wonders though! xxx

    1. I must admit, my friend bought hers over for me to try the other day and i'm not entirely sold! It didn't taste as popcorn like as I thought it would and my lips didn't feel dramatically different so i'm not sure about it now! I've heard the old toothbrush too, might just give that a go instead, good idea! xx
