Boots & bamboo tablets...
So, I caved and spent the remainder of my Topshop christmas gift cards (and a teeny bit of my student loan!) on the Alexy, heeled chelsea boots from my 'Most Wanted' post the other day. They're divine, theres no two ways about it! A lot of the reviews on the Topshop website did say that they were a little pinchy on the toes and to maybe go up one size, but after trying them on, I ended up buying my usual size. Because they're leather they'll eventually stretch a bit anyway so I wasn't overly worried. I wore them for the first time yesterday into uni, with some skinny jeans and a breton top and not only did they look lovely, but considering they were brand new and I haven't worn heels during the day in forever, they were surprisingly comfy. They started to hurt a bit towards the afternoon but for a first time wear I don't think thats bad going... anyway, i'll stop obsessing over the boots. They're lovely though, I can't help myself!
Also this week I took the plunge and ordered a Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet. I've been looking at getting one for a while after a post over on A Beautiful Mess (a beautiful blog by the way, do have a look!) about how to add handwriting to photos. I think it looks so, so effective and just generally adds a bit more personality to otherwise ordinary photos. So as you can see, i'm still trying to get to grips with it, but i've had a little play around and this is the result... nowhere near as pretty as it could be, but i'm working on it! Anyways i'm hoping this might be a good little tool to make my blog look a bit snazzier, so be prepared for a bit of experimentation in the next few weeks! Hope you're all having a lovely week and the snow isn't too awful where you are!
I also use the Wacom tablet, so handy x
