Sunday Catchup | #3

Hello lovelies! So this week has been another manic one, between catching up with friends before I move and attempting to pack (operative word there being attempting) I don't feel like I've stopped really! The weather has been gorgeous though and Plymouth is seriously doing a very good job of showing me exactly what I'll be leaving behind! So here's a few pictures from my week...

Monday saw me leave healthy eating well and truly behind and I tried out the new pretzel place that's popped up in our shopping centre. I opted for cinnamon and sugar and quite honestly, I've been dreaming of it ever since. Seriously. It was pretzel based nirvana.

I spent a lovely day with my lovely friend James, having cream tea on the very sunny moors followed by a little wander around the barbican and the Hoe to see what was going on with MTV crashes. We also made a pit stop at the Barbican Theatre noodle bar and had the best Pad Thai ever, complete with a little take out box. Definitely recommended!

My beautiful friend GemGem bought me the best leaving present this week in the form of personalised notelets. Having notelets with my name on is something that I've always wanted, and I've always joked that I'll know I've made it in my career when I have corperate branded note cards. Now I do and they're so thoughtful and just absolutely perfect. GemGem you're a star!

You know what I said about Plymouth showing me what I'll be missing? Well take a look at this picture and you'll see why! It speaks for itself really!

Finally, I spent a fab evening again with GemGem, having a truly Janner night out (fellow Plymothians will know what that means!) if you don't, it's worth a google! Anyway, we stopped off at the institution that is Cap'n Jaspers for bacon rolls bigger than our heads, quite literally, followed by a few hours sat up on the Hoe enjoying the beautiful weather and chuckling at lost looking tourists and we got Langage farm ice cream before we went home. It was perfect to have all my little home comforts on my last weekend in the city and as usual I laughed more than I ever thought possible with my lovely Gem.

On that note, I should probably get on with some of that packing I mentioned...
