Modcloth | Uniquely You Campaign
This week, the lovely Amy from ModCloth got in touch with me about creating an outfit based around one of their lovely dresses which featured some other items from their site and I jumped at the chance... it's like shopping without the shopping guilt! Modcloth is the perfect place if, like me, you like a bit of vintage style in your life. From cute collared dresses to quirky accessories,it really is a one stop shop for everything retro. It also stocks some amazing brands like The Cambridge Satchel company and the bloggers favourite watch brand of the moment Olivia Burton. I literally want about a million things on there!
My outfit had to be styled around this lovely 'Work to Play' dress in navy. It's adorable especially with the mint collar and I instantly thought it would look so cute while wandering around random cities on summer day trips. I never like to be too matchy matchy, so although my first instinct was to pick up on the mint accents and go with mint accessories, I steered away from this and went for something a bit more classic (and something that you all know I love) tan. I went for these gorgeous 'Fudge from the Fair' sandals in caramel. They're a bit more closed in than your run of the mill sandal which I love and they would be super comfy. Next I opted for this beautiful Olivia Burton watch with a butterfly face and tan strap. These watches are just utterly stunning and I love that although the style is so classic, the butterfly on the face makes it just a little bit quirky.
Next I went for this cute 'Living Proofread' ring set in gold. They're just a little nod towards the Literature geek in me, with the little punctuation marks. I went for these Ray-Ban style sunglasses in a tortoiseshell. As you all know, I can't be without sunglasses and these are perfectly vintage looking without the Ray-Ban price tag! Finally. The handbag that dreams are made of. A mint green Cambridge Satchel. I don't think this needs any introduction. It's just stunning. These bags are so well made and it would be ideal for all those little bits and pieces like your camera and your suncream.
So thats my little outfit. I'd definitely recommend having a look at ModCloth, they have such an amazing range, especially dress wise, so do pop on over there and have a little browse!
