Books, brows and spontaneous sushi dates...
Today's been a tad unplanned and random, but lovely none the less. Plymouth has recently got a Benefit boutique and brow bar and being a dedicated advocate of Benefit make-up I thought i'd have a look at their beauty treatments and book myself in for an eyebrow wax. I opted for the 'Benefit Brow Arch', having always plucked my own eyebrows I thought it was time to actually take the plunge and have some kind of proper shaping done! I can honestly say, i'm in love with my new eyebrows, the whole appointment was brilliant; quick, painless (and I really do mean painless!) and i've now got Benefit brows to die for! I can say with all honesty, I have no idea how i've gone without a brow bar for so long. Heres the before and after shots. I apologise for the differing light, by the time I got home it was dark and I didn't want to wait until the morning to show them off! They look so much better, and with my new obsession with MAC's Russian Red lipstick, my whole make up look looks much more pulled together.
Anyways, with the intention of going back to the car, I popped into Topshop on the way to have a little look, i'm on the hunt for the perfect dress to wear for my friends 21st birthday celebrations next weekend, so far to no avail, so if anyone has any suggestions, do let me know. Then decided to go into Waterstones and pick up some books I needed for uni…came out with only one poetry book for uni along with The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Tender is the Night…i'll keep you updated on those two! Ended up getting a text from my lovely friend Tom who asked if i'd like to meet for lunch, so while I waited for him to get into town I sat in Starbucks and attempted to get some reading for uni done…I turned into one of THOSE people, you know the pretentious ones that sit with a massive coffee on one side and their overly obvious poetry on the other, attempting to look mysterious and clever beyond words? Well yes, that was me… Anyways, although all quite unplanned and spontaneous, it's these kinds of days that I love, lunch and loveliness with my favourite people. I hope your days have been lovely too.
